About the programme

What Women in Innovation backs

Women in Innovation is an Innovate UK programme, delivered as part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), set up to address the under-representation of women among UK innovators. It provides selected founders with grant funding alongside a structured leadership and business support programme.

Recognition through the programme is awarded to a small cohort each year, selected for the strength and ambition of the innovation and its potential to address a genuine, practical problem.

Why NoahCells

The problem behind the award

Battery teams lose real engineering time to a problem that is rarely discussed openly: most of the effort in a test campaign goes into deciding whether the data can be trusted at all, before any modelling or validation work begins. That work is usually manual, inconsistent between teams, and undocumented.

NoahCells was built to make that step automated, repeatable and defensible — checking, standardising and interpreting battery test data so engineers can spend their time on the engineering, not on re-deriving whether a dataset is usable.

"

DeepPSI builds secure software that helps battery teams reduce analysis time and make faster engineering decisions.

About Deep Psi Ltd

DeepPSI provides secure, physics-constrained AI software that analyses battery test data inside the customer's environment. Unlike cloud-based or black-box tools, it gives auditable diagnostics, data-readiness checks and engineering reports without exposing confidential data.
